You are no more than a few blocks away from ATM's, dry cleaners, fast food restaurants, banks and the historical sites that have made the Colonial Zone one of U.N.E.S.C.O.'s World Heritage sites.

At night, the Colonial Zone comes alive with bars and clubs in close proximity to one another. Also within walking distance of the Camilo House Apartments are world-class restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and much more. People-watching is best along the cobble-stoned "El Conde," one of the oldest streets in the Western Hemisphere, and perhaps the longest mall in the Caribbean.

The Malecon, an oceanfront boulevard that runs the length of Western Santo Domingo, features exquisite dining, gambling at the city's top seaside hotels, and some of the hottest nightspots in the city.
